Bay Area Executive Coach’s Michael Neuendorff is now certified in The 6 Types of Working Genius Assessments.

Burlingame, CA  August 2023 – Michael Neuendorff, prominent leadership coach and principal of Bay Area Executive Coach, has recently added another certification to his impressive list of credentials: Certified The 6 Types of Working Genius facilitator.

This is a relatively new program introduced by Patrick Lencioni, the famed author of “The Five Dysfunctions of a Team,”  which was a business blockbuster published more than 20 years ago. Lencioni followed up that work with The 6 Types of Working Genius program. The first letter of the 6 types comprise the term “WIDGET.”

This program helps individuals identify their areas of work that bring joy, fulfillment, and reward, as well as those that lead to frustration and burnout. Through the very inexpensive assessment which just takes a few minutes to complete, participants uncover their working geniuses across six distinct categories: Wonder, Invention, Discernment, Galvanizing, Enablement, and Tenacity.

Michael, a seasoned leadership facilitator and certified presenter of Lencioni’s “The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team,” has embraced this new program to further expand his expertise in assisting teams to work better together and thrive.

Sharing his motivation for becoming certified in The 6 Types of Working Genius, Michael explained, “I did my own research, listened to the audiobook, took the assessment myself, and really appreciated the insight it provided. I felt it was important to become certified in this material to help teams view their collaboration from a fresh perspective and make meaningful changes to their day-to-day work dynamics.”

With this latest certification that complements his team coaching credential and extensive facilitation experience, Michael is even better positioned to collaborate with teams in organizations of all sizes. His expertise empowers teams to harness their innate talents, restructure their work patterns, and ultimately elevate their overall performance.
